    Description

Here are a variety of SIX activities, webquests, projects, and printables all themed around Hispanic Heritage Month! This bundle is ideal if you 1) want to extend your celebrations throughout Hispanic Heritage Month in a low prep way; 2) if you want to offer differentiation and options to your students; or 3) if you have multiple preps and you want to save money by making one strategic purchase!

    What's Included?

    1) Getting to Know Famous Latinos: A printable activity (though easily convertible to digital) exploring the lives of 45+ Famous Latinos! Students pick the person that they would like to study!

    2) Art Research Project: No-prep project which includes everything: instructions, graphic organizers, and a rubric. Students explore virtual museums and select a piece of art by a Hispanic artist that "speaks to them." Several virtual museums have been vetted and offered as suggestions.

    3) Hispanic Heritage Month Project: Similar to the Afro-Latino Heritage Project, students select a person from a vast list of Latinos that they would like to study and write about. Project includes guidelines, rubrics, and more.

    4) Mexican Independence Day Webquest/Notebook: One of the first countries to celebrate their independence during HHM, Mexico gets special attention with this Independence Day Webquest, filled with 25 interactive pages!

    5) A Taste of Mexico: A great bridge between HHM and any future celebrations you might choose to recognize in your class (such as Día de los muertos).

    6) Hispanic Heritage Month Culture Project: Students must go on a journey to experience something "authentically Hispanic" outside of the classroom and report back on their experience. Students are given many suggestions and a fully outlined project to track their progress!
