Hispanic Heritage Month/Cinco de Mayo Activity- Mexican Mirror Craft + Reading Comprehension- includes link to Google Slides pages

This Hispanic Heritage Month (Cinco de Mayo too!) activity is a fun and creative way to celebrate & study Mexican folk art as a part of the month-long celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15-October 15) OR Cinco de Mayo (May 5). Students can enjoy making a Mexican mirror craft and also reading about Mexican mirrors with a Reading comprehension activity. Students read and color code the text to answer WHO? WHAT? WHEN? WHERE? WHY? and HOW? questions.

This lesson could easily be included in substitute plans.
