What educators are saying

I was struggling to find activities for my high schoolers and I'm so glad I found this resource. They love it and stay engaged!

Description

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Designed for use with middle school, high school and post-secondary populations.
This game contains real photo backgrounds paired with realistic clip art of teen characters. For your confidence, you can watch the tutorial prior to purchase!

Intended to be used by a therapist/educator to LEAD their virtual sessions.
This game is suited for use with small groups as well as 1:1 sessions.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
Includes five categories:
food | chores | style | hobbies | career
See what's included in the video tutorial!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Presented as a "game show" style activity. Students select a category and point value (ranging from 100-400).

Each task page presents two choices - your students must decide which they choose and why. Students can indicate their choices by giving their choice a thumbs up/thumbs down icon (using the draggable interactive pieces).

The goal of the game is to collect all 5,000 points to unlock the prize round.
Once 5,000 points have been collected the prize round will be unlocked.
(I've also included a teacher override button for your own discretion).

This game can easily last a small group an entire hour! :)
Feel confident before you purchase, email me with any questions!.

SKILLS TO TARGET:

-identifying/labeling vocabulary

-making a choice between two things

-explain WHY you like/dislike something

-using adjectives to describe

-compare similarities between two things

-contrast differences between two things

I recommend watching the tutorial to see how to target these skills can be targeted.

*This game is not specifically designed as an articulation resource; however, I encourage you to try this game with students that are working on conversational articulation. :)

ARTICULATION:

Easily target articulation with built-in question prompt:

/ch/: which would you choose?

Suggestions for substitute prompts:

/r/ which do you prefer? / would you rather

/l/ which do you like best?

/s/ which would you select?

The graphic organizers are great for helping students to organize and understand the perspective of others and that different things affect people in different ways."
