What educators are saying

I leave this worksheet in my emergency sub tub for middle school choir! The kids love this movie and the worksheet keeps them on track!

Description

This is a set of 30 questions (and key) for the movie, "High School Musical" by Disney for music education. These questions are directed towards students in elementary or middle school. Questions go in order with the movie.

Questions include but are not limited to: dynamics, meter, voicing, instrumentation, instruments, tempo, mood, marching band, piano, found instruments, choreography, acapella, Beethoven, eighth notes, composer, stage crew, set, drama club, call backs, etc.

This document is easily editable in Microsoft Word. If I were using this resource with my elementary students I would provide them an answer bank or turn the questions into multiple choice. Some prior knowledge is needed to answer these questions. This would also be a great resource to use for a substitute in music who does not have much background teaching music.
