Description

Brand new resource---original high school level passages are in this document. This resource provides one week of daily Common Core Reading practice that can be completed in five minutes a day. The passages uses the same writing techniques as award winning literature to provide authentic literature practice in just a few minutes a day. It is an excellent way to monitor student progress quickly and provide daily practice to help students retain what they learn in American and English literature classes.

These passages are written at the high school level (9.0-10.5) Flesch Kincaid Readability/Common Core reading levels and provide quick Common Core literature practice that can be completed in just five minutes a day. Use these as students first enter the classroom. This quick and daily Common Core Reading practice is an excellent tool for keeping track of student performance and for preparing students for assessments.
