Hey, Write a Paper! (How to Write a 5 Paragraph Essay Song) Instrumental Version

Music is a great way to remember facts and processes, so when my middle school students struggled with remembering the basic process and format for a 5 paragraph essay, I decided to put the information to music. What came of the experiment is to the tune of Macarena -- "Hey, Write a Paper!" This version includes a PowerPoint version of the lyrics and slides that link from the lyrics to definitions of the terms used and back in addition to the music that plays along with the appropriate lyrics and definitions. A full demo version is also available. It even includes sections of dance breaks to infuse a bit of fun and movement! The song could be used from about 4th grade up through high school. (Parodies are covered under fair use law.)
