What educators are saying

Great resource to have when use Heggerty. Students enjoy the poems more when using the slides vs a single paper with the poem displayed on it.
These slides have been a great, quick reference and access when doing follow-up activities from Heggerty. Students loved applying their skills to familiar texts. Thank you!

Description

31 Nursery Rhymes * 15 Alphabets Upper and Lower Case * Numbers 1-30

109 Google Slides

Download on any digital platform, computer, smart phone, tablet, and use on smart board.

Poems can be read line by line after a click.

Animated poems to be used in presentation mode.

Upper and lower case on separate slides.

Poems follow Pre-K and Kindergarten Heggerty Curriculum. The teacher says the sentence from the nursery rhyme and the students repeat it multiple times. The next day the teacher repeats the previous day's lines to build on the nursery rhyme.

The first two slides have links to all the poems and slides for easy use. The Alphabet has different fonts and backgrounds that makes daily letter naming exciting. The Alphabet letters pop up independently after the first click. I say the letter name for upper case slides and letter sound for lower case slides. Use as part of your digital lessons!

Numbers Slides 1 - 30 pop up one at a time to practice daily counting to 30. My students love to chant the alphabet every day, however, I feel the need to count to 30 every day as well. What I love about these slides is that the font is different so it exposes them to some of the many ways that numbers can look like, especially number 4!
