Description

Welcome autumn with this hedgehog craft and narrative writing prompt project. This craftivity is an easy bulletin board activity and a fun way to celebrate the season's change.

Make hedgehogs with your class in three different ways:

  1. Print the pattern pieces onto cardstock and make your students templates.
  2. Print the hedgehog pieces onto colored paper.
  3. Print the pattern pieces on white copy paper, then have students color or paint.

Then pick from one of five writing prompts, including a blank one to write your own.

This engaging fall hedgehog craft requires only brief teacher prep work, yet it brings huge impact—to your students' studies and to your bulletin board!

THIS RESOURCE INCLUDES:

  • A completed craft image
  • A complete paper hedgehog kit
  • Assembly instructions and material list with check off boxes
  • Prep-work instructions, including an easy-to-use printing calculator
  • Templates that can be printed on colored cardstock or construction paper, then cut out by students or turned into patterns for students to trace
