Use this full-day of resources to confidently teach your anatomy students the conduction system of the heart (including the SA node, AV node, AV bundle, bundle branches, and Purkinje fibers). Your students will also have the opportunity to explore different arrythmias of the heart in an extension activity.
Part 1: Use the Conduction System of the Heart Doodle Notes to teach your students the anatomy and physiology of each electrical structure of the heart. The Doodle Notes pair perfectly with the included 12-Slide PowerPoint or presentation through Google Slides™ (both presentations have editable text).
Part 2: In order to solidify your students' understanding of the role of each structure of the conduction system of the heart, provide your students with the Conduction System of the Heart Extension Activity. This independent worksheet serves two purposes: (1) Review the SA node, AV node, AV bundle, bundle branches, and Purkinje fibers; (2) Explore different arrythmias due to abnormalities of the heart's conduction system utilizing an online interactive.
