Description
Every year, new research on the human body emerges from various sources and enters the health and wellness space. Health and wellness is a multibillion-dollar industry though, and the ability succeed within it is increasingly becoming a matter of offering newer and better solutions to everyday health needs (think fad diets, mindfulness seminars, workouts, body toxins, and everything in between!).
For this project students will be watching pre-selected TED Talks on various Health & Wellness issues, choosing one to do a deep dive on, and then assessing the validity of the speaker’s claims through their own research. They will then present their findings to the class in a short presentation.
This project is easy to deploy and great for creating independent critical thinkers who can evaluate the validity of future health fads. It can be done independently or in groups.
