Health Human Growth & Development: Pregnancy, Prenatal Development & Childbirth

This is a Google Slides presentation and corresponding homework assignment/note outline for my seventh grade Health students. The presentation explains the definition of conception, the 3 stages of prenatal development giving month-to-month brief explanations, the 3 stages of labor and 4 possible birth complications. The end of the presentation includes the sources I used to gather the content and diagrams. The presentation is age-appropriate for middle school students. I have left this presentation and corresponding assignment editable so you can change what you like according to your district's Human Growth and Development curriculum expectations. :)

NOTE: I also teach Spanish, but none of this presentation or the assignment is connected to the other subject area I teach. :)
