Hatching Chicks - Directions, Observations Sheets, and tons more!

Hatching eggs is one of my students favorite experiences each year! This pack is perfect if you are hatching chicks! Chickens are a lot of fun and the chicks can often stay in the classroom for 4-6 weeks after they hatch. We do a variety of different labs, observations, and writings as the eggs are incubating.

Get prepared before the eggs arrive so you are ready to go! Be sure to read the information and get all of the materials you need since some of them take some time to be delivered. Be sure that you have plans in place for the chicks after they hatch. Many farms will take them, and some people even keep them in backyards, but you want to make arrangements before they hatch!
