Description

Are you looking for a fun way to engage your students and help them narrow down the topic or main idea? Hashtags can do just that! These #easytouse activities are a great change from the traditional book reports, research projects, or worksheets. I guarantee your students will ask you to do them again and again!

Sometimes, intermediate level students have difficulty stating the main idea in just a few words. By using hashtags, students quickly learn to identify and use only the most important words in their descriptions and statements.

Please click on the PREVIEW above for examples of each of the included projects.

Each of the 10 printable sheets is super easy to use. First, use the guide sheet to talk about what hashtags are used for and how to create them. Examples are also provided.
Then, print whichever Hashtag It! sheet you would like your students to use and have them get started.

This engaging packet includes these 10 Hashtag It! activity printables:
• Book Review
• Main Character
• Book Report
• About the Author
• Parts of Speech
• All About Me
• Historical Figure
• Historical Event
• My State
• Famous Landmark
