Description
Kids will master the concepts of least common multiple and greatest common factor by actually manipulating items into groups. With this fun, hands-on activity, the problems are already created for you!
An answer key is provided. All you need is to print the worksheet and distribute base-ten blocks, Cuisenaire rods, strips of paper, or anything you have handy.
Your students can work in pairs to model the situation and perform the correct operation to perform a hands-on GCF and a hands-on LCM problem. When they finish, the back of the worksheets allows students the chance to create their own hands-on situations and trade with other groups!
Way more fun that listing factors, multiples, or creating factor trees, this is an enjoyable change of pace.
