Hand Sewing Unit

This is a seven lesson unit spanning about two to three weeks of class over basic hand stitches: running, basting, whip, backstitch, and blind hem/slip stitch. Students learn in all three learning styles through handouts, paper sewing, fabric sewing, one powerpoint, youtube videos, demonstrations, and two project-based assessments. This compressed zip file includes all handouts, video links, instructions for ordered lessons, and projects. It builds up to the final project available separately in my store which serves as their summative unit exam.
