Halloween Themed-Location Word Book

This is a short book with a Halloween theme to learn, practice or assess student's knowledge of location words. To use simply print book pages out, cut straight across the middle and staple the books together. Print off the correct number of bats on the last page of the document and cut apart.

The location words used are:
above
under
beside
between
in front
on
inside

I used this as a way to assess the kiddos knowledge of the terms above after having introduced and practiced the words in other ways. After we glued Bat in the correct places, I then used our books during Readers Workshop for mini lessons such as, left to right progression and tracking words while reading (we used our witchy fingers of course!).
