Description

Students will love this engaging practice activity for basic equations. They must try to escape a haunted house! Includes Google Slides and PowerPoint versions.

They are given 14 problems to solve, choosing from 3 possible answers for each one. If they solve correctly, they will choose the correct door and avoid the scary giant spiders! If they make a mistake, a spider appears, and they are prompted to try again.

Problems include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with positive whole numbers and decimals.

This is self-checking practice. Students will not turn in any work, and you will not need to grade anything. They will know as they work if they are answering correctly.

This resource is editable, so you can customize it to fit your students. All text can be changed. (Be sure if you change the problems, you keep the correct answer on the correct door so the Haunted House still works for students!)
