Description

This is a perfect way to engage your students in addition and subtraction fact families. It also makes a wonderful bulletin board during the month of October! Students will color their Halloween Haunted House and then use the numbers provided to complete fact families for each window.

This set includes:

-3 Different Haunted House styles

-Each house style has 4 different Fact Family Sets

-3 Blank templates (to write in your own facts)

-3 Templates for students to use to write in their answers

-Teaching and student directions

I can't tell you how much my class enjoyed making these! They were fun and engaging for my students to work on. They are a great math center, great for morning work, small group, and whole class! Students can cut them out and they make a beautiful bulletin board!

*Note: The haunted house windows can be cut out with scissors if you fold the houses. I found it simple and quicker to stack similar houses together and use a craft knife to cut through multiple houses at the same time. I did this before I passed them out to students. This step made it so simple for them to get started!
