    Description

These games are a fun addition to your History Units and include Medieval, Colonial American, and Wild, Wild West character images. Students sharpen their memory skills as they search for matching pairs of Historical characters. This bundle includes three sets of 28 unique images. These games work best in groups of 2-4 players.

This bundle includes the following products:

MEDIEVAL TIMES CHARACTERS - MEMORY MATCHING GAME

COLONIAL AMERICAN CHARACTERS - MEMORY MATCHING GAME

WILD, WILD WEST - MEMORY MATCHING GAME

Prior to playing, copy the cards onto cardstock and cut. Cards can also be laminated. Be sure to shuffle the cards prior to playing!

To play: Place all cards face down. One at a time, students turn over two of the cards. If the cards “match” the student keeps them and it is the next player’s turn. A match is made when two cards are turned over with the same image. Students take turns until all matches are found. The player with the most matches wins.

Note: another option is to allow a second turn to a player who finds a match.

The cards can also be used as writing prompts. Students can…

    · randomly choose a picture and write a fiction story about the character.; or,

    · choose a picture, research, and write about the life of the character

Check out my other history products for READING PASSAGES covering the characters found on these cards!
