Description

HATCHET TEST – This Hatchet whole novel test will challenge your students to use those higher-level thinking skills required on standardized ELA tests. Now includes a digital version! Question stems include key words and phrases such as narrator’s tone, point of view, author uses the literary device, passage best reveals, reader can infer, impacts the plot, demonstrates the meaning, etc.

The test consists of 30 Multiple Choice questions and includes an Answer Key.

The print version includes a test with answer blanks and a test without answer blanks (for separate answer sheet use). The test is 6 pages in length.

To access the digital version, you will find a PDF with a link to the test in Google Forms, along with directions how to access and share the resource with students. (Google Forms is not Microsoft-compatible)
