This Spanish checklist pack includes checklists for uppercase and lowercase letter names, letter sounds, and number (1-20) identification. The pages can be used together or separately.
The alphabet checklists are available chunk by chunk following a common order of letter introduction. Each checklist is available in that order and in a second page that contains each chunk in a random order so that students can't merely memorize the order of the page over time.
The number checklists are also available both in numeric order and in a mixed up order to prevent memorization.
When students have completed their study of all of the numbers/letters within a specific chunk, use these checklists to help students become aware of the letters/numbers that they need to keep studying. These checklists are great for number and letter of the day routines. They're perfect for guided reading or individual conferences. Each one contains a spot at the bottom to write the letters/numbers that the student needs to continue to practice based on the assessment.
Parents also love the feedback that these checklists provide. Providing them with specific information about the letters/numbers that their children are presently missing empowers them to successfully and meaningfully practice with their child at home. Students love taking ownership of the things that they do know and will work harder to learn the ones they can't yet identify!
