Guide to Citing Oral Histories and Other Indigenous Knowledge

Newly updated for current APA 7th edition citation rules (as of Nov 2023), this guide fills a much needed gap that Indigenous students experience in nearly every paper: how do you cite Oral Histories, conversations with Elders, documentaries produced by Tribal Nations, interviews found online (such as Russell Means' iconic testimony to Congress in 1989), etc.

Actual examples are given, not just talked about, since most Indigenous people are visual learners: we have to see it, in order to grasp how to write it properly.
