Growth Mindset Activity: This classroom guidance lesson introduces the concept of growth mindset by comparing two students: Fixed Freddie and Growth Gretchen. Students identify things they can't do YET and participate in a fun growth mindset demonstration using combination locks. Students create growth mindset statements to contradict fixed mindset statements. This is perfect for classroom guidance lessons or a small group counseling activity.
