The fourth unit of Ontario's grade 6 religion program is called "How Do We Show Our Love For God During Lent." In this unit, students learn much about our faith concentrating on the traditions of Lent and morality.
I find the Growing in Faith textbook to be wonderful, but overwhelming in the amount of detail it contains. This unit organizes it in a simple, straight-forward and easy to teach manner.
