Description

In this science experiment your students will be learning what a superabsorber is as well as how it works!

There are 2 different lessons you and your students will be doing to make learning come to life. The first lesson will build the necessary background knowledge to allow your students to take their thinking to the next level before you begin growing any alligators. This lesson involves taking a much closer look at a babies diaper! But no worries, it is definitely a clean one!

Then for the second lesson you will begin growing alligators right there in your classroom (not live ones of course). However there is a literature connection and a letter from the author to get everyone even more excited about science. Everyone will be measuring, weighing, and observing everyday!

There is also a student booklet so that they can track everything from their question, hypothesis, everyday observations, data, results, and conclusion.

Your students will come in every morning wondering what happened in their experiment!
