Description

These Groundhog Day Writing templates will be a hit with your students.

It includes three ways for your children to share what they have learned about groundhogs in writing.

TAKE A LOOK AT THE VIDEO PREVIEW!

  • 2 Groundhog Flap books (color and black and white)
  • Groundhogs: can, have are
  • Groundhogs: Tell about what they look like, Tell some interesting facts, Tell about what surprised you.
  • Groundhogs Fast Facts (color and black and white)

Directions For Flap Book:

  • Instruct children to cut out the top panel along the outside edge with the questions on the front.
  • Cut flaps on the top sheet only.
  • They do not cut on the second page that says, “Glue here.”
  • Glue the top sheet to the back sheet on the “Glue here spaces.”
  • Children read instructions on the top of the flaps.. Open the flaps and write the answer.

Directions for Fast Facts

  • Research Groundhogs
  • Write six fast facts about groundhogs on the printable.
  • Pick facts that you found most interesting about them!

Groundhog Day Emergent Reader

For distance learning, this is a printable packet for students. You may email or share it with parents over the internet on a password protected website. It may not be shared on sites publicly found and downloaded.

DIGITAL COMPATIBLE: Through Easel Activities, this product contains an INTERACTIVE PDF. You will be able to annotate and customize it for your distance learning needs.
