We are loving this for an easier way of presenting Grej of the day - and it is great for getting us to chat about things that are different from the rest of the learning in our class. It is also a great way for some other students to shine.
Description
GOTD is invented by Mikael Hermansson from Sweden. It means ‘thing of the day’ and it is used to spark children’s interests and to improve their research and inquiry skills.
I have made one month's worth of Grej of the Day slides to use as lesson starters if you are in a pinch for ideas.
It is a great way to get children to research, inquire, communicate and become lifelong learners. It works amazingly in the IB curriculum but will suit any classroom of little inquirers.
