Practice deep reading comprehension with this fun Greek myth based on Achilles.

Students will read a one page story about Achilles, the brave Greek warrior with a hidden weakness. This passage offers ten text dependent reading comprehension questions.

Students will practice important reading comprehension skills such as author's purpose, vocabulary, figurative language, cause and effect, theme, and character traits. Some questions require more than one answer. Some questions have more than one part. This passage offers one short answer question. An answer key is provided.

★ This passage is able to be printed or added to your Google Classroom with the click of a button. Students will complete the activity in Google Forms, which will automatically provide a grade and deliver feedback to students when they have finished the assignment.
