Graphs of Sine and Cosine Task Cards

In this activity, students will practice graphing sine and cosine functions as they work through 16 task cards. More specifically, students will…

• Identify the domain and range of a sine or cosine function

• Determine the amplitude, period, phase shift, vertical shift, and midline of a sine or cosine function

• Determine whether or not a sine or cosine function has a vertical reflection

• Graph sine and cosine functions

*Note: This activity asks students to graph functions of the form y = A sin(Bx + C) + D or y = A cos (Bx + C) + D.*

There are so many ways to use task cards in the classroom. I have included a few of my favorite ways to use them in the preview of this product, but feel free to use the cards however you would like!
