Graphing Quadratic Functions in Standard Form Penguin Snowball Fight!
What educators are saying
Description
This activity requires students to NEATLY graph quadratic functions in standard form. Students will graph 8 parabolas, and should be able to find the vertex by completing the square or using x = -B/2A. All graphs have at least 2 transformations. After students graph each parabola, they write the letter of the equation next to the penguin that it went through. This is a fitting activity for winter months, such as December, January, or February, but is also fun to use at any time of the year!
