What educators are saying

This was a great review for my student who needed a little extra practice on graphing quadratic functions. It took her about 30 minutes to complete.

Description

This activity requires students to NEATLY graph quadratic functions in standard form. Students will graph 8 parabolas, and should be able to find the vertex by completing the square or using x = -B/2A. All graphs have at least 2 transformations. After students graph each parabola, they write the letter of the equation next to the penguin that it went through. This is a fitting activity for winter months, such as December, January, or February, but is also fun to use at any time of the year!
