May 23 is World Turtle Day - Turtle

This resource includes five mystery pictures created by plotting coordinate pairs in all four quadrants. All graphs involve positive and negative integers.

Your students will be challenged to plot carefully in order to create the “math art.”

The five pictures include

GraphA - Flower (30+ coordinate pairs)

GraphB - Sock (30+ coordinate pairs) -- see note below

GraphC - Mexican Hombre (80+ coordinate pairs)

GraphD - Bike (60+ coordinate pairs)

GraphE - Turtle (60+ coordinate pairs)

Samples of completed graphs are also included.

(also Down Syndrome Day in March uses socks to promote awareness).
