What educators are saying

This is a terrific resource that I will value having in my teaching tools library. I've been a massive 'cult' follower for almost a decade now!!! Thanks for all your work and especially any updates possible. I always appreciate the effort to continually improve and update the product. :)
This resource is very useful to me and my students across grade level. I find myself using these resources almost daily. Thank you.

Description

This beautiful set of 10 colored graphic organizers -- with four color options -- will help your students learn to use text structures to improve reading and writing. Used in conjunction with my Graphic Organizer Multi-Pack, these 8.5" x 11" mini-posters will visually reinforce students' study of text structures, which will:

~ Improve non-fiction reading comprehension in science, social studies, and technical subjects. Research shows that students who can identify the text structure of a piece retain more of the material after reading.

~ Support student analysis of informational and argumentative texts in English/Language Arts classes.

~ Help students plan and organize ideas in the pre-writing stage for persuasive and expository or informational writing.

Finally, please come hang out on my website, Cult of Pedagogy, where I work full-time to provide you with articles on teaching strategies, reviews of teaching books, technology reviews, and lots of other things to help you make your teaching more effective and joyful.
