Grant: Winning Proposal for CSI: Biotechnology Project

This is a winning grant proposal to purchase a digital microscope to use in the classroom for science, forensics and biotechnology activities. A state electrical cooperation awarded $1500.00 for this grant in 2004. This proposal is customizable and can be adjusted to compensate for the variations in prices of digital microscopes in your area. The CSI project will be a great addition to your science or technology classroom. Biotechnology is an exciting way to learn about science, technology and the ever-changing world we live in. Through the use of a digital microscope and additional laboratory equipment this project will give students an opportunity to create composite pictures, DNA fingerprinting, collect and process evidence to solve a crime.
