Grade 3-5 Distance Learning Google Classroom Writing Packet

Do you have Google Classroom? Do you want some writing practice for your students about Distance Learning? This will enable you to access a writing exercise you can use in Google Classroom with the free resource "Grade 3-5 Reading on Distance Learning".

This is designed to help guide your students in the writing of a narrative about a student who is trying for the first time to learn at home. This helps students develop and practice the understanding that most narrative pieces gather information from other sources. The students use the free reading source as a tool to guide the experience the main character in their story will go through. Not only will your students learn various tips on learning at home as they read about Distance Learning, but they will be given excellent practice in using outside sources to help improve their story-telling skills.

You will be given the option of having your students do this two ways: via Google Form (for a graded quiz) or via Google Docs (for files that student's submit with their written work). Both options will provide students initially with guided questions to help them outline their narrative. Each option ends with the actual student story.
