Teaching second grade writing should be fun! This complete writing program is engaging and extremely effective. This curriculum transitions second graders from sentences to complete paragraphs and book writing. The program focuses on ideas, organization, sentence fluency, spelling, and conventions while incorporating art, science, social studies, and math.

• Creating unique bug books utilizing the templates within the program.

• Using the food pyramid and lunch box templates to transition from book writing to one page works.

• Studying vertebrates and learn to write a group of paragraphs in a continuous pattern.

• Being introduced to narrative writing through color coding and story re-telling techniques.

• Learning how to write a friendly letter by playing our popular letter part card game.
