Description

*BRAND NEW!!!* This is an Excel and/or Google Sheets workbook for tracking the end-of-unit assessment results from CKLA Skills, Grade 2, Unit 4. It works for either first or second edition of CKLA.* Collect and analyze results of all four unit assessments easily and efficiently!

What you get:

  • PDF with a link to my Google Drive folder (rather than a single file to download), where you can download the Excel file or make a copy of the Google Sheets doc. (I'm hoping this eliminates any problems with access.)
  • Excel version
  • Google Sheets version
  • A sample tracker in Excel (but viewable in Sheets) with made-up data so you can explore the options
  • A PDF of the assessment pages (teacher directions + student pages) so you don’t have to hunt for them!

What it does:

  • Collects the student scores for all four end-of-unit assessments in Unit 4 – Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Fluency, and Dictation
  • Color-codes if above, at, or below the benchmark score
  • Lists students who missed certain items (Comprehension, Dictation)
  • Automatically calculates things like Words Correct Per Minute and overall Phrasing/Prosody/Pace score (Fluency)
  • Provides a Whole-Class Summary with all students’ overall scores listed in an easy-to-grasp format
  • Provides a Whole-Class Dashboard that creates pie graphs for the class’s scores as a whole, plus class averages
  • Produces a Student Report one-pager (great for parents and other staff!) that describes the tests, tags them with a standard or two, and gives each student’s percentages and graphs – choose the student name from the drop-down menu

Please check out the product preview to see an example of what's possible!

Unit 5 coming soon – and then a bundle! It takes about 60 hours to create one new tracker, transfer it to Google Sheets, make up sample data, and prepare it for publication – so thank you for your patience! I am steadily working on the next project J

* First edition (downloaded from CoreKnowledge.org) has slightly different student pages (Dictation is 23.4 rather than 23.5), and the Dictation test is called “Word Identification and Decoding Skills” instead, but otherwise the content of the tests is the same across versions!
