Grade 1/2 - MATH LONG RANGE PLANS - New Ontario Curriculum - Scope and Sequence

Head back to school feeling confident and organized! These long range plans are all that you need to ensure that you have a clear plan to address every outcome in the NEW ONTARIO curriculum. Included in the plans are two different sections: a 10 minute a day number talk plan, and a math block plan. The plans are spiralled (concepts are addressed multiple times a year with progressive difficulty) so that students have ample opportunity to practice the foundational number sense concepts and relationships so critical to later math success (subitizing, anchors to 5 and 10, more/less and the same, composing and decomposing numbers, as well as counting patterns and concepts).
