What educators are saying

This resource is a must have for those who teach CKLA. I am not sure why the publisher themselves do not have a resource like this. This excel sheet records data, groups students and provides individual reports for students. Thank you.
These trackers are by far the best things I have purchased to track my students' progress through CKLA. Well put together, easy to use, and fantastic resources to send home to families.

Description

So many items here! First of all, (1) a tracker for entering assessment scores for CKLA Skills, Grade 1, Unit 1.

(2) Within that tracker, I set up automatic calculations to figure out the group assignments. This was one of the most confusing parts of the assessment analysis, I found! But it's all automatic now. I added two "wild card" labels for the combinations of scores CKLA did not account for.

(3) The tracker also contains several tabs for Pseudoword Scoring Sheet analysis. This level of analysis is totally optional, but could be useful for seeing if a student is missing vowel sounds or CVC words or blends.

(4) There's a flowchart for visualizing what happens after each test. I wanted to be able to follow a student's scores test by test and end with a group label (1B, 2A, etc.).

(5) I made a sample tracker for you to see how this might play out across a classroom.

(6) Finally, what to do with those scores! A Word document collects my several years of CKLA experience into four levels of planning: general options, a big-picture progression across six weeks, plans with specific activities and page numbers, and a sample lesson outline.

Please contact me with any questions or requests! Making your life easier is my life's great purpose. ;) And because I spend many, many, many, MANY hours working on these for you, I would so appreciate a quick note giving me your feedback! Your thoughts sustain me. :) :) :)
