1) American Symbols PPT (PC only): A PowerPoint about American Symbols. (14 slides)
2) Rules and Laws: Students write about and illustrate a rule and a law on this class book page.
3) Good Citizen Class Book: Students write about how they are good citizens for a class book.
4) Application for Mayor: Students apply to be classroom (or team) mayor.
5) City Problem - City Name: Students work in teams to hold a city council meeting to decide on a name for their city.
6) City Problem - Hurricane: Students work in teams to hold city council meetings to solve a city problem. (2 pages)
7) Journal Entry About City Council Meetings: Students reflect on their experience of meeting with their city council and mayor.
