Description

Good Night, Gorilla by Peggy Rathmann is a GREAT children's book. It is nearly wordless so it provides many opportunities to elicit language! This literature unit is filled with six different follow-up activities! Following reading, engage your students in activities targeting:

1. Sequencing with Pictures (which is also a great retelling tool!)
2. Comprehension Questions with two (picture) answer choices
3. Following Directions- An activity containing directions from one step to two step directions with temporal concepts
4. Rhyme Sort- Sort pictures by rhyme
5. Gorilla's Book Walk- Find items in the book matching the given function or attribute.
6. Printable, black & white reader to take home

Not only will your students LOVE this cute story, they'll also have fun with these follow-up activities targeting language, listening and literacy!
