What's Included:

  • Make Inferences
  • Use Text Evidence
  • Define words using context clues
  • Examine connotative meanings
  • Make Predictions, Connections, and Draw Conclusions
  • Examine figurative language; identify types and figure out their implied meanings.
  • Look at and determine the author's, and narrator's word choice, point of view, and intention
