"God Did" A Song of God's Love (Ocean, Fish, Whales + Tide)

This is a zipped file that includes an Mp3 version of my original song for children entitled, "God's Did."

It is a simple song with a structure of 5 verses and a big ending. Each verse swaps two words -- so it is simple enough for Preschool aged children (with practice their performance will delight) and yet it is still very appropriate through early elementary.

"Who made the waves in the ocean -- the sand on the beach, the sun in the sky, the juice in the peach?
Do you know? I do. God did. That's who."

The song would be perfect in a religious setting: Vacation Bible School, church camp, Sunday School, or as a Children's Choir anthem. The big ending concludes by singing, "He made the sun and the moon up above. He made the stars in the sky and He covers us with love."

This is the only religious song in my repertoire and I hope that it brings joy to your setting -- at home or at church.

I have included the lyrics as PowerPoint slides in the hopes that they can be projected for early readers or used as congregational sing-a-longs.

Really looking forward to your comments.... especially on how and where you envision using it. I can picture it with a children's choir, backed by talented adults adding harmony -- in a perfect world there would be a cello playing through out.
