Giving Directions in Spanish Stations and Practice Using Real Maps Bundle

This bundle includes two products. One of the files is to practice giving directions using real maps. This file can be used as guided practice or an assessment. The other file includes 5 stations to practice giving directions walking, using the metro, using a bike, etc.

Stations product:

This product includes 5 stations to practice giving directions in Spanish. the 5 stations use 5 different real maps. One of the stations is an audio linked to a map, another station asks students to use a metro map, and another a cicloruta map. There are two more maps to practice guiding directions or walking. The maps included are for: Medellin, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, San Antonio, and Bogota.

This product is student-centered, and students will let highly engaged. After the stations are completed, you can extend the use of this resource to ask students to find particular places of interest in each of the cities.

These stations can be completed in pairs or individually.

The stations will take about 3 class periods of 50 minutes.

This resource includes 3 different practices using real maps (Barcelona, Mexico City, and Bogota) and 3 different modes of transportation: walking, using the metro, and riding a bicycle. This product is in PowerPoint to allow you to upload and share in Google with your students. It will download a ZIP.

The 3 practices include a suggested answer key.

This activity is based on Authentic resources and helps students navigate public transportation, as well as use real maps.

The activity can be used as a practice or as an assessment.
