Description
*Updated August 2015* Looking for activities on adverbs? This pack includes 10 different activities that include games, activities, and printables to use when teaching adverbs. Here's a look at what's included:
Pocket Sort- students sort adverbs and non adverbs into pockets in their interactive notebook or on a piece of construction paper
Flip Flap Book - students sort adjectives and adverbs
How, When, or Where? - students sort adverbs into how, when or where. This includes a station activity with both colored and black and white cards, as well as word cards that can be cut, glued, and sorted into journals.
Flip it! - students cut and glue how, when and where into their journal or piece of construction paper and write words that belong in that category under each flap.
Adding Adverbs - students complete sentences by writing adverbs to each sentence that tell how, when, and where. This can be completed in a journal or on construction paper.
Shout it! Show it! - teacher shouts out a word and students show whether the word is a verb or an adverb. My kids love this game!
Say and Color - students follow the color by code to identify adverbs
Sunny Adverbs - students create a sun craftivity and write 4 sentences using an adverb in each sentence. These are super adorable hanging!
Scoot - students scoot around the room reading sentences. Students identify the adverb in each sentence and record it.
Adverb Hat - students make a hat and write a question, statement, and exclamatory sentence using an adverb in each sentence.
If you have any questions, please let me know before purchasing.
Blessings,
Michelle
