German Classroom Objects Unit das Klassenzimmer

This bundle includes all of the notes, activities and assessments for my unit on classroom objects. I teach 42 words and combine the unit with their knowledge of the colors. Also covered is using 3rd person singular pronouns as replacements for inanimate objects. This is a fun, colorful, diverse and challenging unit I hope you and your students enjoy! Please be sure to use these materials in conjunction with verbal activities in class, perhaps as a warm-up to each day's lesson. When I first begin teaching the classroom objects, each day I ask "Was ist das?" as I point to various objects. The students respond "Das ist das Buch". Then, after I teach the indefinite articles, students answer with the correct indefinite article, as that would be a more logical answer to such question. "Das ist ein Buch". Then, after I teach the colors, I point to objects and ask "Welche Farbe ist das Buch?". They again answer, with a complete sentence "Das Buch ist blau.". Finally, I teach the pronouns and they answer "Welche Farbe ist das Buch" with "Es ist blau" or "Sie ist..."/"Er ist.." for feminine and masculine nouns respectively. Please enjoy!!
