Description

The Georgia American Literature Milestones stump students every year. Now, it's time to stump the Milestones in turn! This is a guide stitched together out of a litany of resources, articles, and charts. Manually crafted and compiled, this packet addresses seven major sections of concern for students preparing for the milestones.

Nearly every section includes vocabulary lists, devices, strategies, and practice for each major concept. The appendices include timelines for American literature (despite this being mostly removed from the exam, it helps contextualize the shift of literature) as well as writing templates for expository and argumentative essays. From beginner literary analysis to advanced writing modes, this packet has it all!

This booklet gives teachers the opportunity to turn these into packets for students or work as a teacher resource to help you best teach Milestones concepts!
