Description
This bundle features everything Georgia First Grade Teachers need to teach nonfiction units for the following people: Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Lewis, Clark, and Sacagawea, Ruby Bridges, Theodore Roosevelt, and George Washington Carver. Map Skills: First Grade was just added on 7/15/2019.
This bundle contains 7 separate units with over 350 pages of activities to teach Georgia First Grade Social Studies GSE's for the following:
- SS1H1: The student will read about and describe the life of historical figures in American history-Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Lewis, Clark, and Sacagawea, Ruby Bridges, Theodore Roosevelt, and George Washington Carver.
- SS1G1: Describe how each historic figure was influenced by his or her time and place.
- SS1CG1: Describe how the historic figures display positive character traits.
- SS1G3: Locate major topographical features of the earth's surface.
- SS1E1: Identify goods that people make and services that people provide for each other.
- SS1E2: Explain that scarcity is when unlimited wants are greater than limited resources.
- SS1E3: Describe how people are both producers and consumers.
- SS1E4: Explain that people earn income by working and that they must make choices about how much to save and how much to spend.

The tab booklets use rounded tabs which are easy to cut for young learners and makes finding the page even easier. Students that have difficulty cutting can just cut out the rectangle without the tab. Vocabulary and font size are perfect for early elementary children in first through second grade.
