Description
While at this level most of math is application however geometry requires a lot of memorizing that students aren’t used to doing in math. This is a fun and engaging way to work on those terms.
Time: 15 minutes for one round
Standards: CCSS.K-8.5.Math.G.01, CCSS.K-8.5.Math.G.03, CCSS.K-8.5.Math.G.04
Students each get card with a term and a question. One by one students listen to see if their card connected to what was just asked.
Example:
I have an obtuse angle!
Who has a five-sided polygon?
This quick activity can be used to reinforce vocabulary over and over as cards are remixed.
