What educators are saying

I love how neat and concrete this bundle was. It comes in handy for my Unit 2 and Unit 4. I used a couple posters as decor and the strip with formulas my students glues into math workbooks for easy access!
I am extremely happy with how well this resource came out! I glued them to larger pieces of construction paper and attached them to the wall. Once we get to our geometry unit, I know my sixth graders will be getting up to look at them often! Thanks for the great resource!

    2D SHAPE POSTERS

Teaching 2D geometric shapes with visuals and vocabulary will help your students understand and remember the parts of each shape. The first five shape posters (circle, oval, triangle, square, and rectangle) feature a visual of the shape, a real-life example, and the number of sides the shape has. The remaining ten shape posters feature a visual of the shape and the number of sides the shape has.

    THIS RESOURCE INCLUDES

    • 16 colorful posters, including:
      • 2D Shapes header
      • Circle
      • Oval
      • Triangle
      • Square
      • Rectangle
      • Rhombus

    • Printable student reference sheet for notebooks or studying (prints two per page)

    3D SHAPE POSTERS

Teaching 3D geometric shapes with visuals and vocabulary will help your students understand and remember the parts of each shape. Each poster features a 3D model, a 3D real-life example (where applicable), and the number of edges, faces, and vertices the shape has. Vocabulary posters give a definition with a model example to show where the term is located on a 3D shape.

    THIS RESOURCE INCLUDES

    • 28 colorful posters, including:
      • 3D Shapes, 3D Objects, 3D Figures headers
      • Shapes:

    3D SHAPE NETS | FREE

Teaching with 3D shape nets gives students a hands-on way to grasp 3D shapes, volume, and surface area.

It turns complex geometry ideas into something they can see and touch by unfolding shapes into flat layouts. This makes calculating surface area and volume simpler. Plus, it boosts their spatial thinking and problem-solving by letting them play with the shapes. It's a fun way to connect complicated math ideas to everyday understanding, making it easier for them to grasp and stick in their memory.

    THIS RESOURCE INCLUDES

    • 7 printable 3D shape nets
      • cube
      • rectangular prism
      • triangular prism
      • triangular pyramid
      • square pyramid
      • cone
      • cylinder

Apply the area and perimeter formulas for rectangles in real world and mathematical problems. For example, find the width of a rectangular room given the area of the flooring and the length, by viewing the area formula as a multiplication equation with an unknown factor.
Relate volume to the operations of multiplication and addition and solve real world and mathematical problems involving volume.
Find the volume of a right rectangular prism with whole-number side lengths by packing it with unit cubes, and show that the volume is the same as would be found by multiplying the edge lengths, equivalently by multiplying the height by the area of the base. Represent threefold whole-number products as volumes, e.g., to represent the associative property of multiplication.
Apply the formulas 𝘝 = 𝘭 × 𝘸 × 𝘩 and 𝘝 = 𝘣 × 𝘩 for rectangular prisms to find volumes of right rectangular prisms with whole-number edge lengths in the context of solving real world and mathematical problems.
Draw points, lines, line segments, rays, angles (right, acute, obtuse), and perpendicular and parallel lines. Identify these in two-dimensional figures.
