Description

This is a set of two geometry circuits that students can use to practice finding the surface area and volume of three dimensional solids.

In order to be successful with these circuits, students must know how to find the lateral area, total surface area, and volume of cones, pyramids, spheres, hemispheres, prisms, and cylinders. Students should also be able to work with composite figures. Students need to be able to find the height and the slant height. Students should be able to work with special right triangles.

There are two different circuits included in this packet.

Students begin with problem number one in the top left corner. After determining the solution to that problem, they find the answer to that problem somewhere else in the circuit. That becomes problem #2. Students continue in this manner until they realize that the last question has an answer to the question where they started.

Answer key is included within the circuit.
